I hope everyone on here has a very safe and Merry Christmas, as well as a Happy New Year, and whatever else you happen to celebrate. I know I missed the Chanukah crowd, and I'm sorry, I just don't post as many journals as I used to. Don't want to bore all you nice people.

This is my first Christmas without my Nana and Papa, two people who were pretty much the focal point of every Christmas I've ever had. Growing up, we celebrated the holidays at their house, huge family gatherings with tons of people and lots of food and love. I remember waking up at 6am Christmas morning and rushing downstairs, and my Papa would already be in his chair waiting for us to come down. He and my Nana loved the chaos, mainly because they loved us so much, and they managed to make beautiful memories for me to look back on and share with my sons.

I miss them so much, this will be a hard few days for me, and I've already cried more than once, but I'm determined to give my children something to look back on fondly.

So I hope everyone on here has at least one reason to smile tomorrow.

Also, I'm going to my friend's birthday party tomorrow night! Bliss! I haven't had a ladies night in a very long time! I shall return on Saturday, most likely hung over and rather cranky.

Not that I'm not cranky now, my effing phone is broken for whatever reason, and I haven't had one since 4 this afternoon. I'd like to make some fucking phone calls and NOT have everyone think that we've been disconnected, thank you.

I got a letter today saying that if I don't come up with $7,000 by next thursday, we lose the house.

My parents know, we're trying to figure something out, but I'm so terrified that I can barely breathe. I don't know what to do, I don't even know what I could possibly sell...

Oh fuck...fuck fuck fuck...I don't even know why I'm putting this, but I need to type it out...

My 7 year old autistic cousin went missing in the woods on Saturday afternoon with the family dog, and was VERY THANKFULLY AND MIRACULOUSLY found today, almost 48 hours later, when the dog came running home and they followed the dog's tracks in the snow that fell during yesterday's blizzard (they got snow along with high winds and freezing temperatures). When James was found, he had a weak pulse and wasn't in good shape, he's been airlifted to hospital with extreme hypothermia and is in critical condition.

If you pray, please mention my cousin Veronica and her beautiful son James in them. Finding him was a miracle, but he needs another one to pull through. Chance, the dog, got James out of the woods, but it's not over yet.
