    Thanks to a gift card from Christmas and my friend Mel providing free childcare, Chris and I got to go see The Dark Knight.

    I won't spoil anyone, but I'm just gonna say I fucking loved it so much. I went in with high expectations, and was still blown away. Go see this movie.

    And we still don't have a car. No theft insurance either, so you can imagine the stress level in our house right now.

    50 points to the first person to tell me where my journal title comes from. The points aren't worth anything, and can't be exchanged, but at least you can say you won them.

    I'm still having crazy writers block/apprehension over the 'Let You Down' sequel. I'm so terrified it's going to fucking suck that I don't trust any of my ideas. I have a basic idea of what I want to happen, but I doubt how good it is, and I really, really don't want to write something spectacularly sub par as a follow up to a piece I'm proud of. It's starting to get me down a bit, too, as I really do want to continue to explore that character.

    My biggest fears are not being true enough to the character and not conveying what really makes Jude tick as well as I did the last time, and not making the story captivating or interesting enough. It might sound stupid that it's bothering me so much, but it really is.

    I think I need to make another Jude soundtrack. That's one thing that really helped me on the first story, and I wonder if it would help me on a second.

    I Need More Movies/TV Shows

    Guys, can you all recommend some movies to me? I'm bored stupid and I need new things to watch. I watched Help! and A Hard Day's Night the other day, which were fun, but now I can't think of what to look up next.

    I tend to like foreign horror movies and basically anything that's really well written. My all time favourites are Snatch, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, and I really liked [Rec], El Orfanato, Alone, and Shutter (the Thai version, not shitty US version). For TV shows, I tend to watch Ghost Hunters, Spaced, the first few seasons of The X Files, and Arrested Development. I also like documentaries, so feel free to add any that you really like. I especially enjoy historical war documentaries, medical anomaly ones, sociology based ones, and ones about murderers.

    I know, I'm weird.

    I can't even think of the last time I was excited for a movie. It was probably back when 'Return of the King' came out, and I don't even know if I was as excited for that as I am for the Dark Knight. I know I'm going to have to wait a few days to see it, though, so if anyone on here spoils me, I WILL hate you forever.
